President's Greeting

Taiwan is geographically blessed to be located between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, making the island an indispensable hub amongst East-West trading. It was based on this belief that I founded MIT.

 

We pride ourselves on the “dual mission” that is deeply enshrined in our corporate culture. Firstly, that towards making distinctive impact for our clients and secondly, recruiting, developing and retaining the best talent.

 

We strive to provide our global clientele with customized solutions and world class services, including fixtures across a range of vessel classes and commodities and setting up bespoke deal structures for projects. To enable this, we create a culture of excellence to attract, develop and retain the best talent, focusing on personal growth and entrepreneurship.

M.I.T. is more than just a shipbroker; beyond providing professional services, we take our corporate social responsibility seriously. For example, we partner with the National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) to offer student scholarships and internship opportunities every year. We also contribute regularly towards social causes, including donation for disaster relief and participation in Taiwan government’s green energy initiatives.

As we continue to grow with our clients, we are constantly exploring ways to improve our service levels. For example, leveraging digital tools and industry databases to improve the accuracy and relevance of information we offer to our clients. As we grow from strength to strength, we will continue to carry out our mission with enthusiasm, joyfulness and humility.
